Dear Church Family,
This Reading Challenge will incorporate
the Poetry of the Song of Solomon, celebrating the proper relationship of love
between one man and one woman.
It will continue the historical events as
recorded in Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther following the completion of the 70 year
captivity of the Southern Kingdom of Israel into Babylon. The fulfillment of
God’s promise to return His people to their homeland and the struggles they faced.
And finally, the wisdom literature of Job,
the historical account of a man’s suffering.
It grapples with the proper view of suffering among the people of God
and where true wisdom is found.
Happy and Fruitful Reading
